Our PETC preform heater bulbs are built to follow the original OEM thermal profile, using short-wave infrared halogen emitters in a quartz envelope. Pick 120V or 230V, with ratings from 200W to 400W, and standard R7s connectors that drop straight into Sidel, Krones, SIPA, Husky, SACMI, and Nissei ASB blow molders—no rewiring. The filament geometry and reflector alignment are set to focus heat where it counts: the preform neck and body. The payoff is even stretch and consistent biaxial orientation.

A few shop-floor pointers
Installation is straightforward on most machines, but do yourself a favor: check reflector condition and socket alignment before you swap. Even the right bulb can throw off the heating pattern if the reflector is mismatched. Also, match voltage and wattage to your blow molder’s heating zone specs. Running a wattage higher than the zone is designed for will overheat preforms and shorten emitter life. If you’re in high-humidity or washdown areas, protect the connections and keep the quartz surface clean. That’s how you keep the heating stable and get long life out of the emitter.
